Washing Up
Even Washing Up raises some beautiful smiles in the Shanxxi Wedding Village, or is it just my good looks and sweet smile? 🙂
All joking apart, the smiles are so genuine, there is no pretence or hidden agenda behind them and everyone is the same from young to old 🙂 A great place to be and they are proud of it 🙂
Reblogged this on Oyia Brown.
The best smiles for sure.
🙂 🙂
Another cracking composition…..this sort of work beats studio portraiture hands down. The’s a kind of synergy in the diagonals. All these images would make a very interesting exhibition….have you shown them to these wonderful friendly people.
Thanks John, we sent a set of printed images back to the village so they could see them and we plan to go back there this summer so it’s my intention to print a set and put into a book format and give it to the village leader who can then show it to all the villagers 🙂 I would love to do a book really but I have no idea where to start 😦
Regards
Mark
That’s very kind and thoughtful, Mark…… and a book would be a great opportunity to share your images. There must be some very capable printers producing quality work at a reasonable price where you are. If you find one, please let me know, as I have a few ideas in that area.
