Yes this set of phographs re the Wedding is set in a village in Shaanxi Province, The Shaanxi Province capital city is Xian which is the home of the very famous Terracotta Warriors and also the home province for my wife ๐ This villiage is my wife’s sisters family village, its so beautiful there, the people are so friendly, happy and healthy, they have beautiful farms and live sustainable lives where they grow and raise everything they eat within the community ๐
It seems impoverished but you speak of it as though it were rich in other ways.
It’s all about perception.! They want for nothing because they have a home, heat, light, fresh food on their table three times a day with no preservatives or chemicals attached, they have support and love from their families and other village members, they help each other out without question or need for repayment…They smile because they can and because they want to ๐ I just wish the rest of the world could be this way .
I am a fan of taking photos of doors, but this adds another layer to the story, Come to think of it, rarely do I take photos of doors with people or framing some kind of other subject matter.
Thanks for this, and the rain effect is beautiful.
