Fast Food Chinese Style.
There are thousands of fast food options readily available on every street corner twenty four hours a day here in China, ranging from Chicken feet, small Pigeons on a stick, Scorpions’ and Millipedes on a stick, Star Fish on a stick, Deep Fried Frozen Ice Cream on bread, Fried Stinky Tofu, Bao Zi (my favorite, small steamed buns filled with a pork meat mixture or a vegetarian option if you prefer). Fresh Fruit pieces glazed in candy, dried squid, Pancakes freshly made with eggs, chili, cilantro, spices and vegetables….the list goes on and most are very tasty if you have the courage to try!
