Chinese Landscape.
This image was taken in Yangshou, Guangxi Province, China. I wanted the image to look like a vintage photograph with the mountains looking like a Chinese Landscape painting, do you think I managed to achieve that?…What do you think?

I think it looks like a timeless scene, so, yes. π
Thanks Alessandro π
I like this very much. Well done.
Thank you so much fcg π
Not like a painting but definitely like a vintage photo taken with a camera that was made in the late 60’s; even with the border.
It is very well done.
Thanks:) I meant the mountains really when mentioning the Chinese painting, should have been more clear in my description / question π¦
Chinese painting of mountains look more washed out/greyed due to the way Chinese painting brush strokes are used.
Indeed!
Cheers Gina π
Absolutely. My family lived in Japan for three years, my parents brought back some silk embroideries of the Japanese mountain landscapes, your photo reminded me of them. Great work, Mark.
Thank you so much Laura π

BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Very interesting – the mountains definitely have the same look as Chinese paintings with the fade from the outline – perfectly done. I also think that if the area between the mountains and foreground was just slightly blurred – so there’s a less abrupt transition – I might find it even more perfect – but really, it’s perfect as it is. Just a great photo and a great use of photoshop (or whatever you used!). Cool!
Thanks bluebrightly π
Beautiful photography!
Thank you π
