Awaiting Demolition
I took this image a few weeks ago alongside Suzhou Creek in Shanghai. The early afternoon sun was just right and gave a great color to the river and highlighted the details of the partly demolished building and yellow graffiti on the wall. The buildings are completely gone now and a new construction project already started.
Chinese characters are so beautiful, i’d think they’d figure prominently in street art/graffiti, so i’m a little surprised to see western chartacters being used instead…
Wonderful photograph. 🙂
Thank you my friend 🙂 ..like everything now, the youth of China is also influenced by western styles 🙂
You’ve made an impressive record of circumstances that will never again exist.
Changes so fast, its difficult to have time to keep up!
Beautiful colors….”Urban Past in Yellow”! 🙂
appreciated 🙂
