Can you Help?

As most of you know I started another photo blog http://moreimagesfromme.wordpress.com a few months ago in order to show images that i have taken or take in other countries, well, so far this site has received very few hits, and or followers, I’m not sure if I am doing anything wrong and I really don’t know what to do to raise the site profile and gain more viewers and followers.

I guess I just feel a bit lonely there on my own which does not give me the inspiration to post more images of which I have thousands from different parts of the world.

As always your comments would be appreciated as are your recommendations to that site to your friends.

Having another blog with WordPress can be really hard. If you have both in your name, on the same account, then when you go to another site and say you like it, if this is your primary blog, then people will return to this blog from the email. If that makes any sense. Maybe mention on this blog when you update the other one, that can help, otherwise it is just time. I follow it, so I get updates and I look at it when you do.

I have the same problem. I have three blogs and only one ever gets published on the topics page of WordPress. I occasionally change the ‘primary blog’ tag on settings, as Leanne mentioned, which does seem to help. I think it also helps if you visit other people’s blogs on a regular basis and try to interact with them as much as possible.

There is potential for me to start another blog to feature my largest photography project but I have felt fearful that people might be feel overwhelmed to have to follow as yet another blog out of their busy schedules. So, I keep just one as a variety pack until the day the uploading space forces me to start new blogs for any special project that I have on the go.
