Alleys of Ping Yao

Life within the City Walls. This Image was taken in the alleys of Ping Yao Ancient City, Shanxi Province, China; away from the two main tourist streets which cross through the center of Ping Yao. My wife and I love to wonder the back streets and side alleys, mingle with the locals and observe as much of the local daily life and routine as possible. Some of these ‘off piste’ streets provide for great photo opportunities.
