Determined Eyes
The next few images will be street portraits of locals living and going about their everyday business in Ping Yao, Shanxi Province China. This old gentleman was really interesting, he used his bicycle as a sort of walking frame, he didn’t actually ride it he just sat astride it and walked along, the basket was used to carry his small stool which he uses to rest ‘street side’ if he decides on a perfect location to people watch or when he comes across a crowd of friends playing cards or Mahjong at the side of the road.
