Images of China through English Eyes

This is the Chinese character for the word ‘For’, I don’t know what the full word/s would have said because they were obviously missing but i thought ‘For What’?..I.e. ‘Why all this demolition, re-location of homes and families?”, In the name of progress or just for “Face”? If you are from China or know something about Chinese culture then you will understand “Face”, it is one of the most important things in Chinese Culture….Maybe another time for the explanation, if you would like one? 🙂
