Watching out for Mum and Waiting for Tofu
Picture taken in Puxi Huangpu Old Town District on the streets of Shanghai, an old street market full of vendors selling everything you can imagine, a mecca for locals and tourists…I have spent many hours wandering these streets enjoying the people, watching their transactions and learning so much about the Chinese culture over the past 10 years..Sadly this market and the streets of old houses around it are being demolished in the name or progress making way for more high rise blocks full of expensive apartments and offices….This pretty little girl had just ordered some deep fried Tofu, she seemed very anxious and kept a keen eye out for her parents, I guess she should not really be making a purchase and spending some money 🙂
